GH5 is Here!

Guitar Hero 5 was released September 1st and it's getting good reviews.  It features 85 new songs by 83 artists, including Coldplay, The Killers, Kings of Leon, and Nirvana.

The game introduces new multiplayer modes that are sure to please fans of social gaming.  “Rockfest” mode allows up to 4 local players (or 8 online players) at one time.  Another mode, "Party Play," allows players to jump in and out of songs without interruption.

New playable characters include Johnny Cash, Carlos Santana, and Shirley Manson.  Even Kurt Cobain is available as an avatar, which has caused some controversy with fans of the former Nirvana frontman.
